Ben Saylor Appointed President and CEO of Georgia GOAL Scholarship Program, Inc.

The Board of Directors of Georgia GOAL Scholarship Program, Inc. (“GOAL”), Georgia’s largest student scholarship organization operating under the Georgia Education Expense Tax Credit Program, is proud to announce the appointment of Benjamin L. Saylor as GOAL’s President and CEO. Lisa Kelly, who served as President and Executive Director of GOAL for the entire 15-year existence of GOAL, will assume the role of Senior Advisor, ensuring continuity in strategic direction and operational excellence.

Ben joined GOAL in 2022 as Vice President of Operations, during which time he furthered GOAL’s commitment and ability to deliver exceptional client services to more than 200 GOAL partner schools and thousands of taxpayer-donors and scholarship recipient families.

Prior to joining GOAL, Ben served as Executive Director of Energy Dispatch, LLC, the transportation company that transports fuel for RaceTrac. During his decade at RaceTrac, Ben managed numerous large-scale projects and, during periods of unprecedented growth, successfully navigated strategic and operational challenges. Ben graduated from Furman University, with a BA in Business Administration.

“I greatly appreciate the Board’s vision and support of the next generation of leadership at GOAL and my appointment as President and CEO,” said Ben Saylor. “I am humbled to be succeeding Lisa Kelly, who, because of her exemplary leadership, pursuit of excellence, and passion for educational freedom, is highly respected throughout Georgia and in the national school choice community.”

Lisa Kelly stated, “The GOAL Board and I are thrilled about Ben stepping into his new position at GOAL. He inherits a best-in-class organization, the success of which is due to the efforts of an incredible staff and countless supportive school officials, scholarship families, donors, and lawmakers.”
