Iowans Seek to Raise K-12 Tuition Tax Credit Cap

A coalition of religious schools in Iowa plans to ask state lawmakers to raise the cap on the state’s K-12 tuition tax credit from $8.75 million to $15 million, thereby increasing the capacity of taxpayers to receive a state income tax credit for 65 percent of the amount they contribute to scholarship organizations.
