Alex Tabarrok, one of America's most acclaimed and widely-read bloggers on economics, has expressed his support for universal school choice.
In linking to articles about greater school choice for students in a low performing public school system (New Orleans), greater school choice for low and middle income students in Louisiana, and greater school choice for some in Indiana, Tabarrok suggests that the benefits of competition and choice should be given to all students on a "non-discriminatory" basis. He believes that school choice is "starting to bring more competition, dynamism and evolutionary experimentation to the field of education."
