A meeting was held recently between some Louisiana public school parents and Louisana Governor Bobby Jindal about the need for greater opportunities for parents to send their children to the private schools of their choice.
One of the mothers who met with the governor, Katina Dunn said having the opportunity to choose where her children go to school is important because "they don't have to settle for where they are now. Where they are now, they are not able to express their specialties."
Governor Jindal's education reform package focuses on improving education for all children.
